Installation Instructions

How to update the firmware

  1. Copy the file(s) on an empty USB stick. For some models, the download is a zip folder containing multiple files. In this case, unzip the zip folder before you drag the files onto the empty USB stick. You can do this by right-clicking on the zip folder, selecting Extract, and then following the on-screen instructions. The USB stick itself must not contain any folders.
  2. Before starting the installation of the firmware update, place the robot mower in the mowing area. The robot mower must not be in the charging station during the software update.
  3. Turn on the main switch on the mower and enter the boot mode by pressing the “Power” and “OK” buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds. In boot mode, all LEDs will light up.
  4. Then start the update process by pressing the lock button. The LEDs will indicate the progress of the update process, which may take a few minutes. Do not switch off the robot mower during this process. An audible signal will confirm successful completion of the update.
  5. Once the mower has been restarted using the main switch, it can begin working again. Do not forget to remove the USB stick afterwards.
